SeaPsych is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, inside the Saturn Building at 3417 Evanston Avenue North. From the lobby, take the elevator or the stairs to the third floor. Suite 308 is to your left when exiting the elevator, or to your right when exiting the main stairwell. If the building is locked, simply use the call box on the front of the building to gain entry, or enter the code provided to you by Dr. Behling when entering via the front or back doors.
Free parking for clients is available in the surface lot behind the Saturn Building near the 35th Avenue entrance. If the lot is full, you should be able to find two-hour street parking nearby. For those traveling by bus, routes 5, 28, 31, 32, 40, and 62 stop within a few blocks of the Saturn Building.
CURRENT & RETURNING CLIENTS
If you are a current or returning client of Dr. Behling and would like to check appointment availability, schedule a new appointment, or reschedule an existing appointment, you may do so via the via the SeaPsych client portal. If you need assistance with scheduling via the the portal, please click here for a step-by-step guide or send Dr. Behling an email.
Please remember that appointments must be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you may do so within the current calendar week (Monday through Friday) without charge.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
If you or someone you know is endorsing thoughts of suicide, or if someone is behaving in a dangerous or unsafe manner, you may call me at 206-849-6737. However, if I do not pick up, you must call the King County Crisis Clinic at 206-461-3222 (toll-free 1-800-427-4747), or call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. Do NOT leave me a voicemail or send me an e-mail if the situation has reached crisis level as I may be with a client or away from my desk.
NEW CLIENTS
NOTE: Dr. Behling is not currently accepting new clients, and his waitlist is, regrettably, closed at present due to the number of clients currently waiting for services. If you are a former client of Dr. Behling and would like to schedule a time to check-in, please reach out via phone or email and he will get back to you soon.
Individuals or families interested in pursuing therapy for themselves or someone else are encouraged to contact their insurance provider (if applicable) for a list of covered providers. Contacting some of the larger mental health agencies in the Seattle metropolitan area may also provide an opportunity for more immediate care, given that these clinics employ or contract with several clinicians. The agencies listed below are a great place to start.

Also, the Washington State Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens connects patients and families with evidence-based outpatient mental health services in their community. This free, telephone-based referral service is funded by HCA and operated by Seattle Children’s. The Mental Health Referral Service will provide services through mental health referrals for Washington state children and teens, ages 17 and younger. Families can call 833-303-5437, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm PST, to connect with a referral specialist.

PARENTS & CAREGIVERS
Dr. Behling welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with the parents and caregivers of children and adolescents participating in services at SeaPsych. Your perspective and insight may be helpful in understanding the current situation and developing treatment goals. If you are the parent or caregiver of a current SeaPsych client over the age of 13, your adolescent must sign a release of information form before you can share information with or obtain information from Dr. Behling. If the signed release form is on file, or if your child is under age 13, and you wish to speak with Dr. Behling, please give him a call at 206-849-6737.
EDUCATORS & COMMUNITY PROVIDERS
If one of your students is a current client of Dr. Behling, or if you would like to refer a student to SeaPsych, please visit the resources for educators section of the website to find out more information. If you are a health care provider wishing to collaborate with Dr. Behling on a patient's care, please contact him at 206-849-6737. Per HIPAA regulations, if a signed release of information form is not on file for you or your office, Dr. Behling will need to obtain the client or parent's permission before information can be shared.
